An Introduction to Charlotte Mackenzie

Born in Montreal, Canada in 1964 I showed a keen interest in ponies and horses from the age of three. Successfully competing as a young dressage rider and subsequently choosing a career with horses seemed inevitable. For 10 years I worked in the thoroughbred racing industry in Toronto, Canada and the US before being told by a vet that I had healing hands.

At that time I was managing Hall of Fame Jockey Julie Krone's showhorse born in Colts Neck, New Jersey. Desiring to devote my love and attention to the care and ministration of the sport horse I became qualified as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist (USA).

Employed by top US trainer Allen Jerkens at Belmont Park, New York as a massage therapist, I became aware that I had reached a stage that allowed me to connect with the horse's mind during treatment. The two-way communication was quite profound and I knew I had to explore this further. Not only was the healing flowing during the massage, information was also being channelled directly from the animal involved.

With practice and understanding I became aware of the benefits of assisting the horses in their release of blocked memories and energy on both a cellular and soul level - the outcome was remarkable and transforming for all concerned.

Circumstances led me to the UK and the Isle of Man where I continued to deepen and strengthen my techniques with guided visualisation, distance healing and hands on treatments. Using my lifes experience and ability as a trained healer, equine and human massage therapist and Reiki Master Practioner, I aid animals, children and adults in their search for total empowerment and freedom

I am a certified FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists (MICHT).
